Each sleeping dog is individually hand-poured with epoxy resin in my Narara studio. A small amount of ashes, fur or hair is carefully preserved within the resin, either on its own or in a combination that is meaningful to you.
Your holding stone will be created in the resin colour that feels right for you. You may also choose any of the metallic or opalescent flake colours shown in the Design Guide, allowing the finished piece to reflect your companion and the memories you shared.
The photographs show an example of a completed keepsake. Your sleeping dog will be created especially for you using your chosen colours, details and precious inclusions.
A note about natural variation
Ashes, fur, hair and decorative flakes move and settle naturally as the resin cures. Some areas will show more of the inclusions, while others reveal more of your chosen colour and details. This natural variation is part of the hand-poured process and ensures that every sleeping cat is entirely one of a kind.
From the moment your inclusions are received, they are kept safe and treated with gentleness, care and respect. Every piece is slowly poured, cured and finished by hand before being returned to you as a lasting keepsake made especially for you.
